If you recall back about a month ago, I wandered around and snapped some shots of a frosty morning on the Plow and offered a few of them to all of you as desktops.
If you also recall, I promised a round two in the event we were visited by the snow gods.
Well, like I mentioned on Monday, we were!
As a stark contrast to the other desktops I’ve posted, instead of colour, I was feeling a black and white theme with these ones. It just seemed the most fitting considering the subject of the photos.
Without further adieu, I bring you snow!

Beautiful! I always enjoy your desktops!
Thanks so much, Katie!
Thanks for sharing again
I choose the last one with the tress in the background. One of the issues I’ve noticed is that I often have applications open and never really get to appreciate my desktop background. A solution I found this morning is to make it the background in my gmail, too! That way, I can see the beauty under the e-mails that are on top. Check out the screencap:

Such a great idea! Thanks Meg!
I have the same issue too. How many people ever really look at their desktop anyways?
I’ll have to touch on that in the next background post!
Gorgeous! Thank you! I chose the one of the icy twigs.
Thank you, Bethany! I love the icy shots. Sometimes it’s so tough to capture the ice without background distraction. This one worked out!
I chose the one with the wheel! Love it! This is the 2nd one I’ve put on my desktop and I’m looking forward to the ones in the future!!
Thank you so much Lisa! Makes me happy to see people are using these!
Beautiful pics. And best of luck with the new photography biz. Looks like you’ll do just fine.
Thanks so much, Kathy!
Gorgeous! And I don’t mean to be a drag, but because I know you care about these things…it’s “without further *ado*”, not “adieu”..
Haha, you’re totally right. Thank you, Ali! I should have known that “without further adieu” and “I bid you adieu” couldn’t possibly mean the same thing.
When I hear the word “adieu”, it always makes me think of the line in The Sound of Music where the youngest kid sings “adieu, adieu, to yeu and yeu and yeu” and she nods to everyone at the party…ha!
